These one-minute Spanish drills will help your students master -er verb conjugations! Additionally, keeping track of their progress on their personal chart will motivate them to pay attention in class and get a better score each time.
Included are five different drills, with an answer key for each one. A basic way to use them in class is to hand one out each day for five days, and give students one minute to conjugate as many of the verbs that they can. Then, project the answer key on a screen or with an overhead projector, and read each answer out loud as students correct their own papers. Then, pass out colored pencils, and have students fill in their score for the day.
If you want, have students fill out the rest of their drill as homework, or have them write in the English translation of each conjugation.
Note: Since many schools do not teach the 'vosotros/as' conjugations, I did not include them in these drills. If you wish to include them, simply change the letter 'n' of some of the 'nosotros' questions into a 'v' using white-out tape and a pen.
