This resource is a challenging ESCAPE ROOM for middle and high school students to practice their grammar skills, specifically parts of speech and sentence structure. This resource can be fully digital or without technology, and the station-like format allows for student movement as well. With technology, students punch in the code through Google Forms that require the correct code before a group can move on to the next puzzle.

In groups, you will hear students demonstrating their learning aloud, teaching each other and revising knowledge, as they solve each puzzle to come up with the correct code. In addition, each puzzle includes an excerpt from familiar and popular adolescent literature such as The Selection, The Maze Runner, I Am Malala, and Fish in a Tree.

Participants of this escape room will have a full review of all parts of speech, parts of the sentence, subject-verb agreement, sentence types, and common sentence errors.

NOTE: Technology (Google Forms) is included in this resource but optional for use.
