ALGEBRA ESCAPE ROOM
a CHRISTMAS or WINTER activity
The premise for this escape room is “LOST on a TREE FARM”
There are 20 questions organized within five tasks.
Students are challenged to answer the questions and then use their answers to discover a combination to “unlock a gate” in order to proceed.
The activity includes an online element (optional) which does not require log in - just internet access. Students can use phones, tablets, or computers. They will enter their codes to work their way out of the forest!
There is minimum prep on your part (print / cut and package cards; the kinds of things you do all the time). Most of the work is done by students as they work together to solve problems and puzzles. You can monitor, observe, and help as needed. There are hint cards that students can use if you want to include them.
I don’t know what else to tell you other than this is FUN.
Your kids will love the challenge!
