These flash cards include actions that people do on a daily basis. There are two sets, one with just the image and one with the image and the action verb and noun (if necessary). The teacher may choose to use one or both sets. These cards allow the students to relate words with their meanings, reinforces vocabulary, and allows the student to create sentences in the third person singular and the third person plural (the tense they use is up to you).
You can use the flash cards only as such or use them to play games (like memory or Go Fish). When I play memory with my ESL students, I generally ask them to create a sentence using the image of the match they have made (He is washing the car; He washes his car every day). The same can be done when they make a match playing Go Fish.
I have included the reverse side of the card so that, when playing, the students cannot see what is on the other side of the card.
