Description
Looking for ESL beginners lessons on food? This is the 10th unit in my newcomer curriculum. By this point, students are comfortable speaking and writing about many topics, and we are adding on all things food. Each lesson is designed to engage students from bell to bell. Start class with ESL bell ringers and follow that by ESL beginners worksheets and other activities to support not only vocabulary memorization but new grammar concepts as well.
This unit ends with both a summative test and end-of-unit project for a total teach time of four weeks. This is easily adaptable to fit your time frame, and the digital resources are compatible with Google Classroom.
This unit reviews articles and coordinating adjectives. It introduces countable and uncountable nouns, counting money, quantifiers, and cumulative adjectives.
