Description
This bundle contains 4 of my favorite ESL conversation question card games for Elementary level English learners. Your students can practice listening and speaking skills using Wh- Questions (what, where, when, why) Present Continuous Action Verbs, Past Simple and Present Perfect all within the context of a engaging and competitive game!
What's included:
1- WH-Question Card Game: Need a creative and competitive way to practice and improve responding to What ,When, Where and Why open-ended questions? This is the game for you. Similar to a classic numbers and colors card game that students already know and love - this version is modified to work in Elementary, ESL and EFL classrooms. It helps improve correct answer formation for questions in the Present Simple, Past Simple and Present Continuous forms. (96 cards)
2- Past Simple & Present Perfect Card Game: This grammar question card game is a great way to improve correct answer formation for questions in the Past Simple (both regular and irregular forms) and Present Perfect (Have you ever...) questions. All questions relate to daily life & past experiences. A new twist on the classic card game that students already know and love! In order to play the card, the student must respond correctly to the question. Easy and low prep. Just print, laminate and cut out the cards to use over and over again throughout the year. (96 cards)
3- Action Verbs Present Continuous Card Game: This grammar question card game is a great way to practice action verbs. 80 unique cards with both a picture and an infinitive verb form are included in this set. In order to play a card, the student must use the verb pictured in a complete sentence using the present continuous positive, negative or question form. (Depending on the card). This way your students can practice all three forms and have better fluency in this tense. (96 cards)
4- Ice breaker Question Card Game: This ice breaker activity is a great way for your students to get to know each other while playing a card game that they know and love! Similar to a classic numbers and colors card game that they might already be familiar with - this question version is modified with open and closed ended questions on each card making it the perfect activity to get acquainted with new classes in Elementary, ESL and EFL classrooms. Getting students to open up about themselves while playing a game helps them to relax, get to know each other and find common likes and dislikes. It helps improve correct answer formation for questions in the Present Simple and Past Simple. (96 cards)
