This is an advanced ESL lesson in the form of a PowerPoint presentation.
The lesson includes a discussion about the impact of technology on work and jobs followed by a short video on the topic. The lesson then transitions to grammar work focusing on advanced speculation and deduction using modal verbs and adverbs/adjectives. This is practiced through a few grammar exercises and a short presentation that students are expected to give. Finally, the lesson ends by listening to a song that exposes students to language practiced in the grammar section. For homework, students can read the article linked to at the beginning of the presentation that focuses on the conversation topic from the beginning of the lesson.
NOTE: answers are not provided for the grammar exercises. However, being an ESL teacher yourself, you shouldn't need an answer key for the exercises.
