This Plurals Scavenger Hunt requires that students search their homes for common items and write how many they found. The language objective is to use there is/there are correctly, and to use plurals correctly. For example: There is one cat. There are two cats.
- 5-page handout with instructions, brief review of there is/there are, and colorful images
- 2 challenge questions that ask students to write the plural of "pair of..."
