Uses the phrases:
Where are you from?
I'm from _______.
Have a nice day!
See you later.
There are 3 ways to use this product!
I highly suggest you laminate it so you can reuse it again and again . :)
1) Students use white board marker to write the sentences they make. (I have my students work as partners, and walk around and correct as I go!)
2) You can cut out the words and add velcro strips. This is great for students who like to do more with their hands. It is a little more time consuming for you but better for high functioning special needs students or Low level English students.
3) Laminate and cut out the words. Say a sentence and have your students make the sentence. You can make it a race too! Sometimes I sort my class into groups of 4. First team to all raise their hand and have the sentence correct gets a point! If you use this method, you can always make more words and just use the top half as a generic writing board to reuse again and again :)
My students really enjoy activities like this! it makes it more like a puzzle and reinforces production.
