This set of four worksheets is based on an article on rooibos tea which is available free here.
In this lesson, students complete various activities before and after reading the article about rooibos.
Before reading the article, students learn about tea drinking around the world. This worksheet focuses on vocabulary and speaking.
After reading the article, students read more on three topics selected from the article: trademarks, geographical indications and indigenous plants of South Africa. Students discuss the use of geographical indications for traditional products, such as rooibos tea.
Students learn vocabulary related to making and drinking tea, as well as producing rooibos tea. They review the use of definite and indefinite articles, as well as ‘could’ and ‘would’, and ‘much’ and ‘many’.
These worksheets are aimed at upper intermediate and advanced language learners.
