This game of ridiculous sentences is based on a party game I learned as a child. I've used it with classes from elementary to adult ESL over my years in teaching, and taken what worked well and what didn't into consideration to design three printable versions.
Included in the file:
--A set of directions for the teacher/leader
--A PDF of the 3 game pages
--A .docx version in case you'd like to make a tweak here or there.
While I've made every effort to produce a high-quality product, if you do find a place that needs work, please let me know. I'd also love to hear about any tweaks you make to help it better fit your needs!
(not that students need to KNOW all these phrases, but if you've taught them, it's a great review!)
past or future verbs/verb phrases with direct/indirect objects
prepositions of place
infinitives of purpose/cause-effect language
