For ESL teachers, nothing is more stressful than trying to sift through home language surveys at the beginning of the year, and trying to make sure you don't accidentally miss a student! I made this log to help me keep track of new students. I log their name, home language, K-WAPT score, and their general level. This helps me to 1. Remember if I have checked that child's survey, and if I have screened them or not, and 2. Logging their KWAPT score and level helps me when deciding on their services, accommodations, and scheduling.
Nothing fancy, but definitely helped me to be more confident during the beginning of the year!
