The English language is difficult even for the native speaker. Positional words is a concept that most young children struggle with. This lesson plan is designed to help students learn the meaning of positional words as they act out their position both in the classroom and on the playground. The lesson can be extended or shortened based on the need of the class. The template used is for ESOL differentiation but can be used for all students and ability levels. I have listed the grade levels to be preK - 2nd grade. The writing component can be taken out or modified based on the grade level.
