Description
This is a fun and versatile activity that introduces and reinforces the use of ESTAR with prepositions of location. Everyday classroom vocabulary and prepositions help the students discover where Goofy is in each classroom scene. Teachers can use the pictures and sentences in a variety of ways allowing students to practice reading, speaking, and writing.
Suggested Lesson Segment: (15 to 20 min)
Step 1: Introduce students to vocabulary to be used with this activity.
Step 2: Students read sample sentences out loud for the first 2-3 slides.
Step 3: Students copy sample sentences for 2-3 slides.
Step 4: Students say their own sentences based on the picture before the sample sentences are revealed for 2-3 slides.
Step 5: Students write their own sentences based on the picture before the sample sentences are revealed for 2-3 slides.
