The EV3 Menu-bar selection, Tools, is covered in pages 49-50 of the EV3 User Guide. The Tools menu item allows you to communicate with the operating system that is internal to the EV3 brick. Tools allows you to download an EV3 program (an App) that you have created. It also allows you to browse the Applications folder within the EV3 brick. I discovered that my downloaded EV3 programs were all stored in the Applications folder.
I show the following programs, all of which have been stored on a personal computer, downloaded to the EV3 brick, and run:
1 DEMO, DEMO1, DEMO2, DEMO3, and DEMO4
2 DISPLAY, DISPLAY1, and DISPLAY2
3 SOUND, SOUND1, SOUND2, SOUND3, and SOUND4
4 STATUSLIGHT, STATUSLIGHT1, and STATUSLIGHT2
5 MOTORA1 and MOTORA2
These programs provide an excellent opportunity for 5th-grade students to explore differences in block settings.
