This is a collaborative bulletin board art project for grades PreKindergarten - 5th Grade. I created this lesson for my student's to show their support of Patriots Day. Each student created a feather for display on an the Eagle bulletin board. Feather template is included. Students that were able to write they wrote a sentence telling about what Patriots Day means to them. My 5th grade students helped create the head of the Eagle. I've supplied a 4 page letter size outline of the Eagle head that you can print to letter size paper. I printed it on card stock and then had older student color it in and cut it out. I got fantastic responses from the artwork. Students, families and local EMS, military, and police, and firefighters had their photos taken with it as a backdrop.

Included in the zip file are 10 PDF pages:

Tiled PDF of the Eagle Head

Feather Template

Star Template

I also have an Eagle Grid Drawing Sheet.
