Description

Your students will love identifying rhythms with these interactive colorful percussion instrument slides, perfect for Kodály based teaching! Students click on the instrument picture, and listen to a four-beat rhythm example played by the instrument shown. They then choose which rhythm they heard from the three choices provided.

All rhythms are four beats long, using stick notation for quarter notes, eighth notes, and quarter rests. Students will hear examples played by instruments of the percussion family: timpani, cowbell, snare drum, tubular bells, triangle, bass drum, tambourine, cymbals, marimba, woodblock and xylophone.

Includes a PowerPoint version to project the slides in your classroom, and a distance learning version. Distance Learning version is formatted for complete ease of use: simply click on the link provided after purchase. You can send it to your students by sharing the link (or embed in Google slides or similar program). It is playable on ANY device! Tablets, phones, computers, etc. Or, you can use it in your classroom as you would a PowerPoint, simply click on the link and project onto your board.
