These timeline cards are for display in a classroom or for various memory games and drill activities. There are over 60 timeline cards, formatting two to a page, and they fit perfectly in 6x9 laminating pouches. They cover 1492 (Columbus discovers the New World) to 1803 (Louisiana Purchase). There are cards for early explorers, the founding of all colonies, events surrounding the Revolutionary War, main events in Europe, Reformation, and some church history. You can easily discard any timeline card that does not fit with your history plans.
These can be used a number of ways. My students hang new cards each week as we progress through our history studies. We keep a set handy to quickly quote through as a constant circular review, and we play games such as putting the scrambled cards in order or identifying the missing card from a series.
