Product Description
This lesson is designed to teach students about the formation and evolution of Earth's atmosphere using a variety of modalities. Included are:
- a complex data representation showing the change in chemical composition of our atmosphere over time
- an artist rendition of what the Earth's early atmosphere looked like to contrast with our current atmosphere.
- a sample of notes taken from a college course describing the three major stages of our atmosphere's evolution.
- a section of text describing the formation of the atmosphere in prose.

The goal is for students to move from paper to paper (or set up as stations) and acquire related and overlapping content in a variety of forms. By the end, they should be able to describe Earth's early atmosphere and how its chemical make-up changed over time.
