This is the learning style survey I came up with for my early childhood classroom! To complete the learning style lesson in your classroom:
First, you would discuss that we all learn in different ways! Model examples of the different learners in the classroom. Model how some students need to move it to learn it and others need to talk about problems aloud to solve them.
Next, you would take the survey in front of the students so they can see you modeling how to answer the questions, think about the questions and then add the smiley faces to figure out the total smileys for each intelligence.
The last step is for students to graph their learning styles with different colors! This will help the students to visualize which learning styles are their strengths and which ones they can become stronger in! Students are also working on their math skills during this process.
This survey will help you get a better picture of how the students learn in your classroom so you can differentiate instruction based on their learning style needs!
