Product Description
This 150-lesson World history curriculum has been used by thousands of teachers nationwide and a top seller of the Social Studies School Service. It is, however, a recent addition to my new TPT store with no feedback yet. So I have included some comments below left by TPT buyers in response to activities from a similar 150-lesson program of mine, 150 Favorite Lessons: Exploration to Modern Times, AMERICAN HISTORY CURRICULUM.

"Absolutely great resource, thank you!"

"The lessons are very informative and nicely put together."

"Lots of great ideas"

"This was a wonderful and clear w.ay to present the election of 1860! Thanks so much"

"Great activity! Students love the choices and anything that deals with actual military strategy is difficult to find so I really appreciate this product."

Make social studies their favorite class with these 150 reproducible world history lessons covering early civilization to modern times. Class members become involved in an amazing variety of creative lessons that make learning exciting, challenging, and fun!

Your students will participate in the Prehistoric Man Contest, know about Ancient Greece by being in the Olympic Games, play Jeopardy on the Middle Ages, be challenged by a map exercise on the First Americans, and learn about the Renaissance while playing bingo. They will become familiar with the French Revolution during the Guillotine Game, take part in a TV game show (To Tell The Truth) about Napoleon, negotiate a contract at an 1800s textile mill, play the World War I Game, and map major battles of World War II. They will also do unique word searches and crosswords on famous events, participate in geography contests and map games, choose research assignments from the Independent Study Guide, and much more!

Use with any world history textbook in grades 7-12. A typical lesson usually has three to five activity sheets, and most can be completed in one or two periods by individuals, small groups, or the entire class using information on the student activity sheets.

Easy-to-follow Teacher Instructions and answer keys (where applicable) are provided for every lesson. A majority of the activities include a 20-question follow-up quiz to measure student progress. The quizzes can be given as homework assignments or review exercises later in the school year. Several all-purpose outline maps are also included. Preparation time is eliminated with 150 high-quality lessons conveniently arranged into one PDF file at your fingertips.
