This set of 7 questions asks students a mix of factual and creative questions to review early European exploration. The questions cover motives for exploration, determining which "discovery" by each country was the most beneficial and why, the effects of exploration and discovery, imports and exports, the Columbian Exchange, and two creative tasks. The first creative task involves recruiting sailors and explorers for an exploration, the second involves creating two resumes for two explorers. All instructions and expectations are clearly stated in the handout. The answers are included where appropriate.
