The world was full of explorers charting new territory. How do we showcase to students how much an impact they had over the course of time?
In this interactive project, students jigsaw their personal explorer, charting their path and finding out their troubles. They also map their starts and stops. When finished, students get into groups to teach other students about their explorer.
This activity involves individual and group work, and mapping, reading, summarizing, and listening skills. This project is great for interactive learning about explorers in a time-crunched environment.
