This is a great resource for anyone that teaches about early explorers, early exploration, reasons for exploration, and the routes taken. I created this printable for the students to fill in while they listened to different groups present about the explorer they researched. These look great and are fun for students to cut out and glue into their interactive notebook. These could also be used as a center or rotation activity where students research an explorer and fill out the information for that specific explorer.

This FREEBIE includes a page for the following explorers:
Leif Ericson
Marco Polo
Francisco Pizarro
Prince Henry
Bartolomeu Dias
Christopher Columbus
Amerigo Vespucci
John Cabot
Vasco De Gama
Vasco De Balboa
Ponce De Leon
Ferdinand Magellan
Hernando Cortes
Sir Francis Drake
Samuel De Champlain
Henry Hudson
Jacques Cartier
Francisco Coronado
Hernando De Soto
James Cook

Students must provide the nation the explorer represented, their purpose for exploration, a favorite fact or accomplishment, and draw the route of the explorers on a map.

I would love to hear how you use this product in your classroom!

**I do not own any of the primary sources/pictures of the explorers. The use of this product is strictly for educational purposes. Please contact me if this infringes on any copyright or trademarks of others.
