For this activity, students will be number detectives. The sentences tell what digit is in the ones place and tens place. Students have to complete the place value chart.
These powerpoints are used in conjunction with the topics taught for each lesson. Once students finish their problem set and exit ticket, they grab their work mat, sit on rug, and begin working on the related ppt! No fuss, mess, or chaos
- just press play
and keep them engaged
while you work on helping the kiddos who are still in need of your help.
of this lesson:
✓ Comes with a QR code if you want to use during centers
✓ Comes with a PPT that you just need to press play and the students will be able to work through the ppt while you work with other students - you can also drag this ppt into Google Drive to use as a Slides presentation
✓ Comes with a matching page for students to write their answer, then erase as they get ready for the next problem.
**The powerpoint is looped so students can hop in and begin writing their answers as soon as they are finished with their problem set and exit ticket. I used these during my formal observation, and it was such a "hit" that I decided to make them for most of the lessons in each module.
**You can also use as a Google Slideshow if you don't have powerpoint.
