Engage your students at the end of your Hominids unit by having them answer the guiding question "How has geography shaped human history?".
This fully editable project will guide your students through an inquiry unit where their group of hominids is transferred to a new location and they have to adapt to and modify their environment to survive.
Students will work in groups to fill out a CER chart (claim, evidence, reasoning) for the adaptations and modifications their humans will go through.
Students must have an understanding of the early hominid groups from Australopithecus through Homo Sapien. Students also must have access to research tools.
