Why this product? Research shows that language, reading and writing skills develop at the same time and are intimately linked. The interactions that young children have with such literacy materials as books, paper, and crayons, and with the adults in their lives are the building blocks for language, reading, and writing development.
So how should you/can you use these scavenger hunts to build literacy? I have included sight words, repetition, beginning sounds, rhyming words, simple sentences and pictures to create 20 engaging, fun, hands-on scavenger hunts that will keep your child and/or students actively engaged in learning and wanting more!
You can use these scavenger hunts at home, outside, in a classroom, just about anywhere.
