Early Reader (K-1) Pyramid Reading Game (CVC & Sight Words)

Once a student learns the short vowel sounds and recognizes the sound of each consonant they are ready for basic reading skills! Using pyramids as a warm-up to the daily reading practice, kindergartners gain confidence, understanding and word recognition as they practice consonant-vowel-consonant and sight words. It helps a student progress from reading single cvc words or sight words to longer sentences. These 25 pyramids progressively increase in length.
