Product Description
Political parties have been a part of our national political world since the very beginning of our nation. In 1789 the Federalist and Democratic Republican parties sparred over their own vision of our nation, but who had the best plan for the America of the new century?

During this exciting mock trial activity students will role play the leading citizens of the Early Republic or lawyers making their case about how their party should be entrusted to guide the United States. The activity allows students to research, create arguments, debate and discuss their ideas, and construct conclusion all based on this question.

This is a fun, engaging activity for students of all learning levels that is CCSS aligned. It's a great history stand alone or interdisciplinary project. And like all our simulations, it comes with support from its creator for the first year after you purchase it!
