This is a Hard Maker project designed for students with access to wood, and tools. The finished project is supposed to have a moving component like a crank, and a working paper circuit. However these elements can be take out to accommodate a low maker project. The Project directions are editable. This comes with a rubric that is also editable. The ideal time for this project is 6 school days including a research day in a lab or library. I teach at a STEM academy in Texas and this project is aligned to the TEKS, and meets PBL standards.
