It is important that our students know how to be polite, how to say the ‘right’ thing, how to tell someone else how to do or find something, and what words to use for the context. But social la nguage skills can be very difficult for some students, especially those with language disorders.
Work with students or groups with multiple targets; you can sort the cards by question type, or keep them mixed for the whole group.
• 100 question cards in this game, designed to help students say the right thing for the situation, use the right word in the context, tell how things are similar or different, to tell what is needed.
• Along the way, they earn “allowance” money, or have to pay it back. The game board is open ended, so you choose how long to play.
