Description
Task cards are a great way to get students up and moving while engaging them in learning content! Use them as a no-prep center, during group work, or even as a quick assessment. Just print the recording sheets and post the cards around your room for an activity that will have your students engaged in no time! There is a color and colorless copy attached for whichever you prefer.
Task cards can be used games and activities such as a scavenger hunt or SCOOT. Use them in science centers or stations as a review, test prep, formative assessment or extra morning work practice.
DISTANCE LEARNING WITH TASK CARDS:
As a distance learning resource, send the entire packet home including the answer key. Students, siblings, or caregivers may cut apart the task cards and hide the task cards around the home for an indoor scavenger hunt. Kids answer each card on a student response form as they find them. This makes it a reusable game for extra practice! Each card answered could correlate into a minute given toward a favorite activity, such as, screen time, time with parent, etc..
Information covered in this set:
- 6.E.2: Understanding structure of the Earth and changes that have occurred over time
- 6.E.2.1: Summarizing the structure of the Earth
- 6.E.2.2/6.E.2.3: Explaining formations and natural forces
- 6.E.2.4: Requirements for good health of humans
