Earth Day Activities Earth Day Craft Lend a Hand Earth Day Writing Prompt

- PDF

Description
Celebrate Earth Day with this interesting writing prompt craft.
Teacher Comments:
- "Such a fun Earth Day activity! They turned out great and my students loved them!"
- "Really enjoyed this activity for part of our Earth Day celebration."
Students can choose to dangle their "writing prompt" circles vertically under their hand, or they can glue them together to form a sphere (like the earth).
For more pizzazz have girls glue flat-backed rhinestones to their "rings" and add "polish" to their nails. Boys could add a watch.
The child's hand print makes this a sweet keepsake craft.
PK children can skip the writing prompts and simply color their circles.
Completed projects look wonderful swirling and twirling from the ceiling.
Teacher Comments:
- "Great resource... great activity to hang up."
- "The kids enjoyed making this!"
I listed this as "Not Grade Specific" as you can easily tweak it for a variety of ages and skill levels, so be sure & check the PREVIEW to see if it works for your students. Older students can do a lot more writing & extra circles can also be added.
