Need a meaningful and engaging Earth Day activity? How about FOUR, fun, no-prep activities that get your students outdoors exploring the wonders of nature. Earth Day is a great day to get students outside and engage them in the wonder of our Earth and the importance of taking care of it.
Here's what's inside:
♻ Earth Day Nature Scavenger Hunt
♻ Earth Day Nature Scavenger Hunt Specimen Research
♻ Earth Day Clean-Up and Trash Tally
♻ Earth Day Project Choice Board
The Earth Day Scavenger Hunt allows students to explore their surroundings to find common specimens.
The Earth Day Scavenger Hunt Research is an additional page for students to research and find information about one of the specimens they found.
The Earth Day Clean-Up and Trash Tally gets students out and cleaning up the area around their school or classroom. Students will collect data about the trash they find and try to determine the source of the trash and a possible solution.
Finally, there is an Earth Day Project Choice Board for students to choose from six different activities to recognize Earth Day.
