Earth Day Writing

Go Green? What does that mean? As we celebrate Earth Month and Earth Day this April 22nd you and your kiddos will be exposed to many catch phrases like this one which all highlight the importance of our planet Earth. What is very significant is that we leave an indelible mark or impression on the minds of our future adults. This is precisely why I created these printable half sheets so that students from kindergarten to grade three (with your guidance of course) can document those impressions out of this Earth Day/Earth Month focus. They will write their meanings of key terms and catch phrases and offer three ways in which change starts with them.

Included in this set are:

11 pages containing Earth Day words /phrases (2 per print)
1 drawing/picture page (2 per print)
4 pages for extended writing (with Earth Day images)
14 'Read Think and Explain!' mini pages

I'm all about saving paper for this Earth Day so that is precisely why I opted for offering half pages. You can have your kiddos stick them in their notebooks or create an Earth Day Folder using half cut construction paper. Do your part by simply selecting the pages that you need then print. ☺☺☺☺
