Every day is Earth day! If you’re looking to take your class discussions past the obligatory ‘recycling’ topic, then this might be the booklet for you!

This 38 page ‘fun and facts’ mini booklet is designed to support your classroom discussions about Earth day. It includes a wide selection of follow up activities (many of which can be completed independently) and is perfect for the kids to take home to share with their parents.

• Choose a place you love – what was it like in the past? What’s it like today? Make 2 predictions about how it will be in the future (best future and worst future)

• What is the land outside your building being used for? (Parking? Growing lawns? Growing food? Etc.)
• Name 3 people in your class who….. Have a vege garden at home, have picked up a piece of litter today etc.
• What are the best and the worst ways to reduce waste?
