Use this simple reader to talk to your class about Earth Day on April 22nd! This book reviews many basic sight words (our, to, we, can, you) and invite children to write on the last page about what they can do to help keep our Earth beautiful. The dots underneath each word helps students track their reading with a finger, or pencil. The colorful pictures will help them decode new words as they read. There is also a simple worksheet at the end for students to sort items they would throw in the trash, and items they would recycle. Enjoy!
Happy Earth Day!
