These posters are provided 2 different ways: with a dramatic black background (22 pages) and with an ink-saving white background (22 pages).
-Simple Student Recording Pages- on these pages students can write their own explanations and create illustrations to demonstrate understanding of each concept. - 2 simple pages that can be used to create a booklet that records student learning, a 1 page simple writing prompt and an earth to color.

Sea Turtles- Complete Nonfiction Resource
This HUGE unit is truly the only resource you need to teach your primary students about Sea Turtles. There is a strong focus on the life cycle of sea turtles but there is also much more!
This unit presents 9 informational text articles based on sea turtles. These articles can be used as individual close reading texts or can be put together to make a complete book. High quality photographs engage students and enhance their learning. These articles provide detailed information in a basic format.
These articles can be used as a read aloud or as close reading texts. These articles were written to correlate first and second grade science and ELA standards. (Younger students will benefit from having these texts read aloud to them.)
After each article you will find a page of 2-3 explicit, text dependent questions. There is also 1 page that includes 2 writing prompts that ask students to summarize and synthesize their learning by evaluating both the photographs and the text.
