Description

Earth Day is coming. How about some themed word problems in a student mini book? Um, yes please. And, let's make it a free story problem book while we are at it today :)

This Earth Day Draw + Solve Booklet aligns with the CCSS for both 1st and 2nd grades. It contains multiple pages that target different word problem skills. Pick and choose the stories that you think your crew is ready to handle when you create your student booklets. (I suggest running it on scratch or recycled paper in honor of Earth Day.)

These mini books work well as a math warm-up, a transition piece, or in a math center.
