Here are 20 ideas to celebrate Earth Day, [April 22].
One way to use this product is to use a different activity each day in April; building in complexity of activities. Another way is to have students select which activity they wish to work on. This can be done either individually or by simply posting the activity sheets for sign ups. Release the responsibility to the students, ie. have students plan and collect materials, related items, etc. and then check for your approval. A final way is for the teacher to select ONE activity for the entire class.
Activities vary in difficulty and the degree of planning. Ideas for the activities are listed at the top of the page leaving plenty of space for the teacher to jot notes, write additional thoughts, student names, etc. A few of the activities have a link for students to explore.
The greater purpose of this product is to allow for teachers to see the scope of possibilities while allowing for one's own idea to impact/adjust the activity that will best suit his/her class.
Included are also two generic planning pages for the instructor.
Last, several of these activities will require computer labs, IPads, however, a smart phone will work just as well.
