Congratulations on starting your Eco Club journey! This can be used for Eco Teams or for Earth Day activities for the whole school. To achieve Eco status for your school one of the things you will have to do is conduct energy audits at the beginning of the year and then again near the end of the year. Your Eco Club should be promoting good energy habits to the whole school and coming up with ways to reduce the amount of energy your school uses. One of the ways to do that is by having Student energy monitors. The energy monitors check all the classrooms to see which classrooms are remembering to turn off their lights when they are not in use, especially during lunch recess when the classroom is empty.
Also makes a great Earth Month activity for the whole school!
