Pg. 2-7 “Lorax, Lorax" rhyming interactive emergent reader to accompany The Lorax. Students fill in the word “see” on every page and trace the word “what” on the last page. Students finish by drawing a picture of what they can do to save the Earth!
Pg. 8-15 “I Love the Earth” interactive emergent reader. Students color the picture to correspond to the highlighted color word and draw pictures for match the bolded words, using beginning letter cues. On the last page, students draw a picture of the Earth.
Pg. 16 Conservation flipbook- Copy, fold in half longways, with text on top. Cut slits to make flipbook. Students trace the word “when” write one idea to save each resource under the flaps.
