Earth Day Skip Counting Puzzles

“Count By” Picture Puzzles are a fun way for primary students to actively practice counting by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s.

The puzzles are presented with an Earth Day theme, but are suitable for any time of year; as every day is a day that we can strive to make our planet a healthier place to live.

~The puzzles are appropriate for:

*Pre-K students that are being exposed to skip counting with adult support
*K students that are learning about skip counting. Or, for those students that understand the concept but need opportunities to practice the skill further.
*First grade students that need support with this skill, or for those whom have a firm grasp of the concept but need a fun way to practice it.

Simply print each puzzle page on cardstock for durability. Laminate each page. Cut the pieces apart on the solid black lines and place them in individual Ziploc, or other storage bags, or envelopes. If you prefer, cut the pieces apart first and then laminate them for extra durability and longevity. To make organization easier, you may choose to label the back of each piece with a specific color code or letter/numbering system.
