I co-taught alongside an Earth Science teacher in classes consisting of ESL students, former ELLs, and other types of struggling readers.
A vocabulary jigsaw is a fun group activity that I used often to review vocabulary, or to review for an exam. They take awhile to put together, so I am happy to share this resource with others.
This jigsaw reviews the following terms:
1. seafloor spreading
4. Plate tectonics
6. convection current
7. seismic waves
12. plate boundary
What you get:
4 pages of clues (one for each student in a group of 4)
