This PowerPoint slide show teaches the students the step by step process of drawing topographic profiles. Maps with and without hachured contour lines are used as samples. The slide show also teaches the skill of estimating maximum and minimum possible elevations for the top of a hill and the rim of a crater. Estimating the maximum and minimum depths of a crater is also covered in this slide show. This slide presentation concludes with a review using maps and questions from the Regents exam.
