This project covers a first grade NGSS standard. Students will use observationsof the sun, moon, and starsto describe patternsthat can be predicted. They make an umbrella that blocks the sun in the morning and not in the evening. This simple STEM project gives a step-by-step guide to implementation. Uses the engineering process.
