Student note guide to the second PowerPoint lesson in the unit on "Oceans." This lesson explains the concepts of surface currents; the Coriolis effect and how ocean currents affect the Earth. A class activity (suggested) is included at the end of the lesson.
PowerPoint lessons contain many graphics and two links to short videos to further student understanding.
PowerPoint slides also contain slide-sorter notes for the instructor based on student most "frequently asked questions" or FAQ's to help clarify the subject.
