Plot Earthquakes on a digital map to see where Earthquakes happen around the world. Students will use the site Google My Maps to plot a list of earthquakes with ratings high on the Richter Scale. There are two sheets, so students can work together with a partner to plot the points on a map. When they are finished, compare the earthquake locations to that of plate boundaries to see if they notice that most earthquakes happen near tectonic plate boundaries. Have fun!
