Product Description
This resource is now available with all of my earthquake resources in my EARTHQUAKE BUNDLE.

Finding something to DO for earthquakes can be tricky. In this resource, to be used after the introduction of seismic waves, students use a p-wave and s-wave speed graph to determine the distance from three different cities to the epicenter of an earthquake. Students then use a map to find the epicenter. Follow up questions included. THEN, there is a second earthquake in the same state! For homework, have students practice what they did in class and find the second epicenter. All answer keys included. Enjoy!
