This is a great free sheet to use when introducing Earth's layers to your students. I had students color each appropriately (followed by a PowerPoint presentation), then cut out the items. They glued the items on a piece of notebook paper. The title "The Interior of the Earth" goes at the top of the notebook paper, then you glue down the interior of the earth in the center of the notebook paper. Next you glue, just the top, section of the earth down on top of the interior picture which creates a flap. After you have those pieces glued, I had the students color the labels the same color as their matching parts. For example: the crust label should be colored brown to match the crust on the interior picture. They finished by gluing the labels on, or beside, each layer.
